If you do not agree with anything in this policy, you may not complete any survey and must immediately opt out of any services we offer. You may not participate in our survey(s) or access any of our services if you are younger than 18 years old; or do not have legal capacity to conclude legally binding contracts. Narratiive Acts as an Agent for our Customers
Narratiive acts as an Agent for each of its customers, in that it provides its services primarily for the benefit of the customer. Each of our customers uses Narratiive to understand more about the visitors to its websites; in this way, our customers can provide online advertisers with third party independent statistics that help demonstrate their site audience. This information may include search engine referral, affiliate referrals, traffic driven by banner ads or other online promotions, how visitors navigate around the site, the most popular websites or sections. We also collect certain technical information, such as information relating to a browser version and operating system. We aggregate all of the usage information from our customer’s websites into a benchmarking solution that demonstrates their metrics to advertisers and other interested parties. We do, however, reserve a limited right to disclose any information we collect if required by law or valid order of a court or other governmental authority. We also reserve the right to disclose any information to third parties. However, such disclosures will take place with discretion that is commensurate to the sensitivity of that information. We generally collect anonymous usage information from websites which are registered on our system. These websites participate in Narratiive by placing a small piece of tracking code on each of their webpages.

We do not have any control over these other web sites, and therefore we cannot be responsible for the protection and privacy of any information that you provide while visiting those sites. Generally, we use computer safeguards such as firewalls and data encryption to protect personal information and we enforce physical access controls to our buildings and files. To opt out of receiving tracking cookies for all sites using Narratiive, you will need to accept a cookie indicating your choice to do so. Alternatively, browser extensions to suppress most measurement and ad tracking will will usually opt you out of Narratiive and this method is recommended for those who delete their cookies but wish to remain opted out from our data collection services. We will try to comply with your request(s) as soon as reasonably practicable. Please note that if you opt-out as described above, we will not be able to remove your personal information from the databases of our affiliates with which we have already shared it.

Collection and Use of Personal Information
Narratiive collects anonymous, aggregate statistics. For example, we do not tie a specific visit to a specific IP address. You can browse customer web site(s) without giving us any personal information. We use our own surveys and customers to analyse traffic in order to understand our customers’ and visitors’ needs and to continually improve our site for them. In some instances we rely on our channel partners to fulfil product trials and information requests, and provide customers and prospective customers with information about Narratiive and its solutions. For Users: Your personal information may be stored and processed in any country where we have facilities, and by using a site you consent to the transfer of information to countries outside of your country of residence, which may have different information protection rules than in your country. For Narratiive Customers: Any customer using Narratiive’s services outside the Republic of South Africa must ensure they comply with the Processing Agreement concluded separately.
We may need to disclose personal information to our employees that require the personal information to do their jobs.
If we undergo a change in ownership, or a merger with, acquisition by, or sale of assets to, another entity, we may assign our rights to the personal information we process to a successor, purchaser, or separate entity. We will disclose the transfer on the website. If you are concerned about your personal information migrating to a new owner, you may request us to delete your personal information.
